A new star has joined the growing group of out Hollywood.
Nickelodeon’s “Marvin Marvin” and “Fred” movie star Lucas Cruikshank came out as gay on his official YouTube channel.
“I’m a gay,” he said with a smile and what seemed quite a bit of nerves.
The 19-year-old goes on to explain, “My family and friends have known for three years, but I haven’t felt I needed to announce it on the internet. It’s really awkward.”
Cruikshank created and played the wacky persona of 6-year-old Fred on YouTube. He transitioned that into two films and the Nickelodeon series, “Marvin Marvin.”
